Chilli Boyz FC had dominated the standings throughout the season, sitting comfortably at the top with 33 points heading into the final week. Chapongo FC, trailing closely behind, needed nothing less than a win to claim the title — and they delivered in decisive fashion.

In a match filled with intensity and high stakes, Chapongo took the lead through Gomora Tadiwa, who found the back of the net after a clever assist from Muchionei Life. The pressure mounted on Chilli Boyz FC, who were desperate to respond, but a costly own goal sealed their fate and handed Chapongo a vital 2–0 victory.

The result pushed Chapongo FC to 36 points, overtaking Chilli Boyz FC at the top of the table and earning them the Ward 24 Community League Championship title for 2025.

League officials have announced that the Ward 24 Community League Awards and Closing Ceremony will take place on 27 December 2025 in Village 4B, where Chapongo FC will officially be crowned champions and recognized for their incredible season.
